DeviantArt Questionnaire

Well, well, dA's 15th Anniversary, huh? Well, I guess I should do this questionnaire thing here...

• How long have you been on DeviantArt?

While I've technically only been a member of dA for about four years, I've actually lurked the site for a few years before that.

• What does your username mean?

It's actually just a nickname my friends in high school gave me. A shortened corruption of my last name. Where they got the idea, I'll never know...

• Describe yourself in three words.

Shy, quirky, creative.

• Are you left or right handed?

Right-handed.

• What was your first deviation?

Hmm...technically speaking, the first deviation I posted was , a sketch of a character of mine. However, when I first joined, I submitted pretty much all the drawings I had at the time.

• What is your favourite type of art to create?

I like illustrations in general. While it's easier for me to draw with a pencil, digital illustrations are easier for me to give a more finished look, with colors and shading and all that.

• If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Realistic art. Because I just can't do realistic drawings. XD

• What was your first favourite?

Ah, the memories. My first fave was , a drawing made by a friend of mine from class.

• What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Mostly illustrations and fanart, usually anime-styled. It helped with the inspirations.

• Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Hmm...I can't say I have any particular favorite artist. I admire a lot of the artists I've watched, for all the awesome works they've created, and how they've inspired me to try and improve to be as good as them.

• If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Ooh, this is a difficult one.
I guess there are a few of my friends here who would be cool to meet in real life. No, I won't say names. ^_^

• How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

For the most part, many of the people I've met here have inspired both my art-style and writing style in some way or form. Some of them have even encouraged me to try things I didn't before.

• What are your preferred tools to create art?

I go with the classic pencil and paper, but for my digital art, a small Wacom Bamboo will suffice. Usually work using PaintTool SAI and Photoshop in that case.

• What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Weirdly enough, during class. Sure, it usually means my attention is not where it's supposed to be, but most of my ideas have begun in the middle of class!

• What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

I guess one of my favorite memories was getting some of my artwork noticed by one of the artists I followed. Knowing such a good artist like my art gave me a boost of confidence that day. ^_^

And now, it's time for me to go back and work on my commissions.
