Pokemon X and Y - Klumsy Korrina

Ya know, back when X and Y hadn't been released yet and we got our first look at some of the Gym Leaders -including Korrina-, I kinda remember looking at her artwork and thinking she tripped while skating or something. I mean, I know it's supposed to be her doing AWESOME SKATE TRICKS, but, still. It does kinda look like she's falling down.

Anyhow, I'll be honest and say I was planning a sequence, and started sketching the end result first. But, being half-asleep and losing track of time, I ended up experimenting a bit with coloring, shading, posing, and so on, and so on. This is the end result.

Yeah, I dunno. I think this is one of my best attempts at coloring and shading since...forever. Actually did it in monochrome, but tried coloring over it. Could have done some cleaner lineart, but given the circumstances, it still came out pretty good.

Might still work on that sequence...sometime. I really need to focus more with the little time I get.
